Moth Fly
( Psychoda spp.) - This small gray colored fly is characterized by having "hairy" wings so that it looks like a moth. They are commonly seen flying in bathrooms. \r\n

"Biography"
The young stages of moth flies live in the organic debris in drains, and in sinks and toilets. The lifecycle requires about 30 days to complete and the adult flies may live about 3 wks.\r\n

Treatment
Thoroughly cleaning around sinks and toilets may help to eliminat them. When large numbers of these flies are present there may be a clogged drain. Temporary control can be achieved by pouring boiling water down the drain, then removing all the debris. \r\n
